SUPERB FORM

Since making his €2.25 million summer switch from Birmingham City, Curtis Davies has been in superb form as he plays for Hull City, he was even linked with a possible move to Everton as the side of Roberto Martinez is interested in signing them.
The head coach of Hull City, Steve Bruce denied any rumors and speculation about Davies making a transfer to Everton.

“It’s the first I’ve heard of it. There’s going to be speculation about any player that’s doing well and Curtis is doing well. I don’t even have to bother with my owner with £6m. We don’t want to lose our good players and that wouldn’t even tempt us. I wouldn’t even have to ask the question on it and that’s the strength we’ve got.”

“We all realize how important Curtis has been to us and for anyone to sell their best players now it would have to be at a premium which would blow us away. That wouldn’t even scratch the surface. Where could I replace Curtis Davies in January for that amount? The last thing I want to do is dismantle a squad I’m trying to put together’’. Steve Bruce stated when he was asked about the future of his player.

The consistent string of impressive performances from Curties Davies has now seen the defender having an increased price tag and valuation from €2.25 million to €20 million which is the amount of money that the 28 years old player is being priced at.
The football career of Curties Davies has seen him going from Championship clubs and later making moves to the Premier League with teams on the relegation zone but it wasn’t until his stay at Hull City that he has truly sparked the interest of top tier squads such as Manchester United and Chelsea.
