PREM DREAMS

Curtis Davies has said that he wants to be a part of a Premier League side again. Davies is currently a contracted player of Birmingham City. He has been a part of the Premier League sides before. He has played for Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion.

Quite a few clubs were interested in Davies during the mid season transfer window, but, Birmingham City didn’t put him on sale. The clubs which had shown interest in Davies were Reading FC, Norwich City and Wolverhampton Wanderers.”

When asked if he wants to join a Premier League side again, Davies said, “I would be lying if I say that I don’t want to play for a Premier League side. Off course, I want that.”
“In January, I had been told that somebody would be sold and I knew that it wouldn’t be me. So, I was calm.”

When asked about him being approached by so many clubs during the mid season transfer window, Davies said, “I have played well this season and if you perform well, the clubs are going to show interest in you. This is obvious.”

Davies admitted that he is a bit disappointed with the performance of his side in the Championship this season. Birmingham is currently at no. 10 with 52 points in 39 matches.

When asked about the performance of Birmingham City in this season, Davies said, “We had bought some quality players in the pre season transfer window and we were looking for a promotion. But, we haven’t played that well.”

“However, there are still a few games to go and we can end the season on a high. We have disappointed our supporters in most of the matches. Now, we need to give them something to cheer about.”
