Olise has been one of the best players in the English Championship this season and Curtis Davies has been impressed with the quality he has shown in the colours of the Royals this season.

Davies was impressed with what he saw when Reading defeated his Derby County side 3-1 on Easter Monday. The ex-Hull City player didn’t feature for the Rams during the game as he’s gradually working his way back to full fitness from the Achilles tendon injury that he picked up at the end of last year.

Derby County defender Curtis Davies picked up the Achilles injury during the English Championship clash with London club Brentford. Davies talked about Michael Olisewhile he was on Sky Sports. According to the Rams central defender, he would be surprised to see Olise continue his playing career in the English Championship next season.

Davies backed the Reading star to make a move to the Premier League ahead of next season. Olise is a target for a lot of clubs in and out of English football. Aston Villa have been seriously linked with a move for him.The Derby defender also told Sky Sports that the attacker has unbelievable individual quality and that he was blown away when Reading visited Derby County earlier in the season in what was their first league meeting of this season.

Villa target Olise could be a perfect replacement for club captain Jack Grealish if the England international leaves the midlands club at the end of the season. Grealish is a target for big clubs like Manchester United and Manchester City. Olise has six goals and ten assists in 39 games for Reading this season.
