HULL SUFFER DEFEAT

The newly promoted team Hull City faced off against Everton in a match where they lost 2-1 and according to Curtis Davies in one of his latest interviews they “huffed and puffed but we never really created the chances that deserved getting back into the game. Set pieces were our best chances.”

They were forced to play a defensive style for way too long not allowing them to make a breach into the opponent’s goalkeeper.

A victory could’ve seen Hull City leap ahead a few spots in the Premier League standings although they are still sitting in a fairly comfortable 9th spot alongside Manchester United both sharing 11 points so far.

Unibet, the sports bet specialists, are offering good odds on Hull surviving in their first season.

Despite facing the recent loss in the Premier League, the 28 years old defender and one of the star performers for the promoted Hull City, Curties Davies stated his desire to play for the England National team.

“I would jump at the chance to play for my country – even if it was upfront… or in goal!

“It appears Roy Hodgson is trying to push young players through and I would probably have to be lucky to get called up. But the gaffer here is getting the whole defence working well together as a unit this season.”

As he said in an interview made a few days ago. Although Hull City only spent £3m in the 28 years old defender, after his latest performances it seems as if they got a bargain for the potential England player.

Davis has already made his England under-21 debut back when Fabio Capello was in charge of the team but now he wants to make a full debut with the main team hoping to play alongside legends such as: Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard.
