HULL YET TO GET NEW PLAYERS

Championship side Hull City are yet to sign new players as they prepare for life in the lower division.

The team had so much hope when they moved to the top tier last term but after a few months they started the fight against relegation. They were eventually sent back to the Championship alongside Middlesbrough and Sunderland.

With the slump, many things were expected. Curtis Davies shocked many when he left the club. He moved to Derby Country for around £500,000. Many did not anticipate his exit from the KCOM Stadium after four years of stay.

Just like in recent past where Jack Hobbs and Tom Ince shocked fans with their exit, Curtis did the same.

Till day, Hull are yet to sign players that would help them succeed in the Championship. Rather more players are almost sure to leave as well.

Left back Andy Robertson is willing to leave. The Tigers themselves would be looking at cashing in on the opportunity. Leonid Slutsky needs dedicated players and a transfer budget to recruit Championship players. So the Scot would likely leave. Several clubs including Premier League side West Brom have indicated interest.

Liverpool are among the interested sides in Robertson. The Reds arehoping to get either of Robertson or Ryan Sessegnon. Fulham are hoping to retain their player but the Jurgen Klopp-led side are hoping to lure him in a summer transfer deal. If the Reds fail to sign the left back from Craven Cottage, they would come heavily for City’s Robertson.

Aside Liverpool, Burnley, Watford and even Newcastle United are in the race for the player.
