BIRMINGHAM RELISH DAVIES RETURN

Birmingham will be cherishing the return of Centre back Curtis Davies after the defender was ruled out of the match against Hull city due to the red card he received in the match against Cardiff.

Curtis Davies has been one of the influential players from Birmingham this season. He has been rock solid at the back ever since arriving from Aston Villa. However, he missed the 2-1 loss at the hands of Hull City last weekend after receiving his marching orders in the match against Cardiff city.

Now, the return of the defender will provide coming with much-needed relief as they prepare to take on Doncaster. Birmingham city have been playing a number of matches away from home in the last few weeks and Doncaster will finally be marking their returns back to home. The return of Curtis Davies will provide them which much-needed strength to take on the championship team.

Despite facing a number of financial troubles this season, Birmingham city have done pretty well in the championship. Even though they have not been able to challenge for the likes of the play-offs and the automatic promotion places, they are doing pretty well in the mid-table.

Doncaster, meanwhile, are struggling down at the bottom of the table. However, they are unlikely to take anything away from the match given that Birmingham city have been relatively good at home this season. The club will still be missing defender Liam Ridgewell, who continues his rehabilitation from the thigh injury sustained a few weeks ago. Senegal defender Diatta recently joined Doncaster, but he is unlikely to make his debut against Birmingham. Curtis Davies will be the major player to return from first-team absence for Birmingham. They will be hoping that his return will push them towards ascendancy in the table.
